About Us
The Kindred Philosophy
At Kindred Coaching, we believe that growth doesn’t have to be clinical, corporate, or cold. It can be playful, surprising—even a little weird. Through the shared storytelling of tabletop roleplaying, we help people tap into curiosity, courage, and connection.
We use tools like roleplay not for escapism, but for engagement. These games invite participants to experiment with collaboration, communication, and decision-making in a low-stakes but high-resonance environment.
Our approach is rooted in coaching psychology, group dynamics, and a love for imaginative play. We believe that everyone has the potential to lead, connect, and thrive and that sometimes, the best way to find yourself is by playing someone else.
We’re here to help people, teams, groups, individuals, explore who they are, who they want to become, and how they can meaningfully show up for others.
Meet your coaches
Hi, I’m Josh—coach, facilitator, worldbuilder, and your guide on this journey.
I founded Kindred Coaching to create a different kind of space: one where you can explore who you are, what you want, and how you show up in the world. My background blends professional innovation, people development, and a healthy dose of roleplaying magic. I believe growth works best when it’s playful, collaborative, and deeply human.
I’m currently training with The Coach House and working toward accreditation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and Association for Coaching (AC). My style is grounded in curiosity, deep listening, and helping you uncover your own insights. Whether we’re building confidence, resilience, or stronger social skills, my goal is to make the process engaging, reflective, and a little bit magical.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll probably find me on a climbing wall, inventing character classes, or swapping stories over coffee.
This work is rooted in connection. If you’re here, you’re already part of the party.

Our values
At Kindred Coaching, our values guide everything we do—from how we design our experiences to how we show up for each other. They’re more than just words on a page, they’re the principles that shape our sessions, our stories, and our shared growth.
These five values, Creativity, Connection, Community, Curiosity, and Courage, form the heart of the Kindred approach.
Join Kindred
Whether you’re a curious individual, a team looking to connect, or a group seeking growth, you’re welcome at our table.
You don’t need experience in roleplaying games. You don’t need to be an extrovert or a storyteller. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to explore.
We offer coaching for individuals, workshops for teams, and group programmes that help people build skills and find their people.
Pull up a chair. Bring your dice (or borrow some of ours). Let’s grow together.
